For more than 20 years, Dr. CO D.L. Pham and Dr. Thuy T.L. Bui, husband and wife, have been devoting their time and talents to serve the Vietnamese community in Southern California. Embracing their dedication to serve others, the doctors founded a small medical clinic which over the years has grown to a multi-specialty medical organization. This organization, located in Westminster, California popularly known as “Little Saigon”, has held a significant presence in the community providing quality medical care, programs and services to the children, adults and families.

Embracing their passion to serve the community, the doctors formed the Vietnamese American Medical Institute (VAMI) in 2002. This not-for-profit organization is dedicated to the health issues affecting the Vietnamese population both in the United States and Vietnam. Of particular significance to the organization, its founders, and Board of Directors, is providing HIV and AIDS education to all age groups.

VAMI is a non-sectarian, non-government organization whose sole purpose is to provide humanitarian services to those in need.
